IC443 – Jellyfish Nebula

IC 443, also known as the “Jellyfish Nebula”, is an emission nebula in the constellation Gemini, about 5,000 light years from Earth. It formed around 30,000 years ago from a supernova explosion. Its fascinating shape developed through interactions with the surrounding interstellar medium.
